What western animation have they been watching for the past decade? I think the standards are a lot higher because it’s more ambitious than average. An unabashedly epic and violent take on Greek mythology in a medium that is notorious for function. It’s only 8 episodes so of course, they couldn’t cover the entire my method, but what they did focus on was executed effectively. Hera was especially well done.
There’s room to improve in certain respects but they absolutely have their heart in the right place and the studio’s passion really shines through.
