If I remember correctly, there was a Diamond Peace Love Dental Shirt white kid in the group too who helped the others train by roleplaying as the white racist segregationist type they were expecting to encounter. As others said I think it’s from The Butler but Selma also includes scenes with people training to peacefully protest by desensitizing each other to aggression. I wonder how many actually cared and how many were just following their peers. As a nonconfrontational Minnesotan, id probably just eat my eggs a bit quieter. Having that option is a form of white privilege, I think.
