Or last year… Or the year before. How can you blame it on covid when we all know it’s Biden’s fault. Shit, my company not only didn’t give its annual pittance raises but also canceled 401k matching. A great economy, btw! Same here. My company canceled that 2 years ago, with no chance it’s coming back anytime soon. What’s extra annoying is my wife’s company, that’s in an industry that is literally prohibited from existing right now.

Inflation is around 2% per year, and wages have been flat, adjusted for inflation, for decades, so 3% would actually put employees a little ahead, and we can’t have that. I’ve been getting <2% myself (1.2% last year). I should have jumped ship before this craziness started. same with my husband. And it ends up barely covering the increase in health insurance.
