Have you considered building a pneumatic spud gun, using some foam/paper as wadding, and firing the candy at the little ankle-biters? You could go with an ignition based gun, but the pneumatic cannon gives you more control over the charge so you don’t hurt a kid. We aren’t doing traditional Halloween either.
