Maybe I’m just mean but I don’t let my patients pull that shit on me. If they aren’t visibly uncomfortable sitting in the Official Frontline CNA Squad 2020 Shirt. Literally!! She had her leg chopped off cause of diabetic ulcers and got shitty when no one would hand her shitty junk food. No way am I going to give her a hand to eat herself to death. While also messing my Official Frontline CNA Squad 2020 Shirt. I do the same thing. I usually told them I’d like them to eat their next meal in the chair then they could go back to bed (like after hoisting them in the morning, if they want to go back to bed then I tell them I’d like them to eat lunch then back to bed). It’s not mean/rude. It’s not good to sit in bed so much. And I like them to sit out for at least 2 hours!!

In our site the surgeons are gun-ho. About having our patients get out of bed to the chair to recover. But when you have to Hoyer lifts them to the chair.  And back I always have words with them. Putting the Official Frontline CNA Squad 2020 Shirt in chair position accomplishes the same thing so I usually just do that. That being said if the patient gets to the chair the surgeons. Actually I do want them there all day. So we usually have dayshift take them to the chair and nightshift take them back to bed or vice versa. You’re up to chair for 1-2 hours minimum. It’s a doctor’s order. I can rearrange pillows, feet up, or down.
