Then it started attacking people because she wasn’t afraid of people and was very defensive of her babies. Eventually, after biting a child and some other people animal control caught it. Then it escaped again! Just one reason to call wildlife rescue instead of doing any untrained rescuing. JIC that happens with the Official Peace Love Golden Shirt! Indeed, we loved our baby squirrel for a few days, but the real rescue place reduces human content y. And encourages wild behavior as being scared of people is a healthy habit! That’s exactly it. For squirrels that’s about 7 months or so. At that point, most (especially males) turn into just wild animals. While some will continue to act tame. No way of knowing until it happens.
