How do you get villagers to wear the Official Personalized Papa Doodle FD Shirt? I gave shep an HMD a while ago. He wore it once and then never put it on again. I think it’s random, I’ve had villagers put something on and then never wear it again and one’s that wore outfits all the time. I also think it has to do with if the clothes are something they like, they all have personal clothing preferences.

I gave one to Kid Cat and changed his catchphrase to flex. The latter is what I’m most proud of in the entire game. I did the same thing with Roald in my game!! He always says he’s happy to show off his pecs in the Official Personalized Papa Doodle FD Shirt… And now he won’t take it off anymore. I think I slightly regret it. I gave it to him because another villager was pressuring him to have a reveal party for his muscles. We managed to delay that party but I wanted him to have a backup plan! I’ve never had Roald as a villager but I have so many strong paternal feelings for this sweet boy. Nobody ruins this for him.
