The Vong storyline turned me off the old EU so bad and that was the last straw. I had every book before that. I quit reading them until the new canon came out. I personally think he should have died in 9. It was the perfect scene and would have made a grey character more developed. I disagree and that’s okay. I honestly would’ve hated episode 9 if Chewbacca had died.
