Eating food and just catching prey for fun/practice/whatever other reason isn’t the same. The cat very well could’ve just killed the prey passing by just because they felt like it. My brother’s cat would find mice and play with them. He said one time his cat had broken the back legs of Official Otter Paw Shirt a mouse and was just watching it drag itself around with its front legs for a while. It ended up killing the mouse, but it definitely played with it first. Jaxon was a 35lb street rescue pit beagle mix. Other than the wrapper there was no mess.

A couple of years ago, I got some cheesecake from the cheesecake factory (raspberry white chocolate truffle or two) for my boyfriend and me to celebrate one of our birthdays (probably mine) and they have those towers of Official Otter Paw Shirt gelatinized whip cream. boyfriend had scooped him up with his spoon, marveling at how it remained completely undisturbed but for its displacement. the cat was sitting next to us, observing. the cat tapped that blob of whipped cream all the way across the room. Sometimes Bamse would enjoy a pint of beer with the guys. On one reported occasion, the pub’s cat was sitting on the bar where Bamse wanted to sit and the determined dog stood up and casually pushed the cat aside to make room for his bowl of beer.

One of Bamse’s tasks in Scotland was to round up his crew and escort them back to the ship in time for duty or curfew.  Bamse would wander down to the bus stop at Broughty Ferry Road and take the bus down to Dundee.  If he could not locate his friends he would take the bus back to base. I had a dog that got a 5lb Hershey bar off the table ate about an Official Otter Paw Shirt quarter of it until I imagine his teeth hurt then licked a divot almost all the way thru.
