Release the buckle and the pan the cake is on can be removed. The literal tiniest possible sample of boomers would have maybe been in their late teens for a year or two of beatnik culture. I think that the recipe for Cheesecake #17 recommends the Fat Daddio’s 7″ by 3″ cheesecake pan. It’s not a springform, but, has a removable bottom to make removing the cheesecake easier. Springform pans will leave a slight indentation in the side of the cheesecake where the Official Super Daddio Super Mario Shirt is. I think it was also in the recipe for Cheesecake #17 that it was suggested not to put foil over the top, but instead to gently use a paper towel to absorb any liquid on top after cooking. They are really better made in a springform pan. So that you don’t have to flip the cheesecake upside down to get it out.
