The part where he mentions living in your attic or on your roof as zombies filter from home to home and consuming everything on the floors below you really gave that great eerie feel all zombie survival stories need. There’s a lot of little things in the Rob Zombie I Was Into Zombies Before They Were Cool Shirt. That sets it apart from typical zombie stuff. I really liked the story of how people avoided zombies by fleeing north and instead had to deal with the cold and starvation for example. I’d not mind seeing a World War Z miniseries along the lines of Chernobyl. The constant existential dread with brief moments of hope and triumph seems a perfect match.

You absolutely should. I’ve read it twice. People always tell me, “I’m sick of the zombie thing”, but the book isn’t really about the zombies. It’s about humans. It personalizes the experiences but also touches on politics, military, religion. Just about every aspect of the Rob Zombie I Was Into Zombies Before They Were Cool Shirt. And, while not spoiling anything. There are zombie sniffing dogs! I’m still so so sad that the movie World War Z totally fucked the source material. A proper HBO level show/miniseries is what that book really deserves, told in episodic post-documentary style the book is narrated.

Check out the audiobook. It’s incredible. Voiced by different people for all of the stories. I think it’s how it was supposed to be done, as the stories are all “oral histories”. The guy who ends up training dogs describing running past the pet shop hearing the Rob Zombie I Was Into Zombies Before They Were Cool Shirt. That he wasn’t able to save…Jesus. I lived down the street from a pet shop and for months I quietly vowed to them I would do whatever I could to help if anything happened. I keep watching the news to see if they quarantine us. I bought coolers to carry my food and a grill also plus a whole bunch of dog food. My plan is to pack up my own dogs and go stay out there.
